Thanks to the compact measurements, the Airvinci Helicopter can take off and land in almost every location. Flight times of up to 3 hours allow daily flights for commute, leisure as well as cargo of up to 260 lbs payload possible. With the variable control system, it can be piloted from the aircraft as well as remotely. Even further, we are working on programs that make a completely autonomous flight possible. Additionally, way-point-flight capabilities for remote and autonomous control will make the flight experience available to individuals without a license that can have limited control over the aircraft, while instructors and computer systems safeguard this revolutionary new flight experience.
Top priorities are safety and reliability of our Airvinci Helicopter. The helicopter has multiple power systems: two separate aircraft engines guarantee a safe and controlled landing even in case of an engine failure. To prevent damage or danger, the aircraft is designed with a minimum of exposed moving parts. As a third security system, a ballistic parachute can be deployed in emergency situations to ensure a safe landing at all times.
The duct around the rotor systems increases their efficiency, allowing their size to be decreased while still achieving the same technical characteristics as much larger rotor systems. The Airvinci Helicopter has a diameter of less than 7ft, fitting easily inside an average garage or on a standard-sized trailer. No time is wasted removing components for storage and transport. With vertical take-off and landing there is no need for a runway. This is a unique advantage especially in urban areas, where you can take off from your driveway and land in a regular parking lot.
A revolutionary design was necessary to make flights more affordable without compromising the safety and reliability of our aircraft. A technical design that doesn’t require a tail rotor or cyclic pitch control simplified the mechanics. Without these complicated and fragile features, there is no need for complex and costly short inspection cycles as conventional helicopter designs require. Mechanically simple solutions and the use of well-known aircraft engines make required occasional maintenance and repair easy and affordable. Intelligent use of materials and new production techniques make the pricing of the Airvinci Helicopter far below price levels of known aircraft.
The Airvinci Helicopter has interchangeable modules. Instead of the cabin for the pilot, a closed capsule for the transport of valuable goods or a module for a sling load can be attached. Along with the remote and autonomous flight capabilities, the Airvinci Helicopter is suitable for a broad range of tasks. To fulfill new tasks, specialized modules can be designed and mounted to every Airvinci Helicopter.
